We hope you love your PSA products and your satisfaction is our priority. If you’re not totally satisfied with the products, we’re happy to offer a refund of the full amount (minus the shipping fees) if you return your products within 28 days.
Do note that products can only be refunded if they are purchased via our website. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer exchanges.

-We use only proven ingredients that are safe and effective. Everything that goes in our formulations is clearly represented and scientifically grounded. -We use organic whenever possible. However, a lot of awesome ingredients like Peptides, Antioxidants and Vitamin C, for example, cannot be organic as they are manufactured in the lab. PSA products contain the best of organic superfoods with advanced scientifically proven actives.

Yes, our products have been certified gluten-free by an independent third-party laboratory. If you have allergies and are unsure about a specific ingredient, we advise checking in with your physician.

-PSA products were thoughtfully formulated to bring comfort to all skin types. They’re made to address stress breakouts, dry spells, skin dullness — all sorts of skin rebellions that occur when you’ve been burning the midnight oil too many nights in a row or have had a lot more on your plate lately to pay attention to your skin. We’d like to think that we have all the bases covered.
Our products are Dermatologist-Tested, and Hypoallergenic. We create them in small batches under the strictest ISO & FDA guidelines, and through our testing processes, we’ve actually found that our products are proven to help balance and improve problematic skin.
-Technically, all of them. However, you know your skin best so you can be the judge of what you think your skin needs. We formulate with clinically proven actives in concentrations for optimal efficacy and visible results. We also made sure to omit any potential triggers in all of our formulas in order to make our products compatible with all skin types — especially sensitive and sensitized ones.
-The PAO (Period After Opening) symbol on our packaging will tell you how long a product is at its full efficacy. Look out for an icon that looks like a jar with an open lid accompanied by 6M, 9M, 12M. This refers to the recommended number of months the product will last once it’s opened. Our products are best stored in a space that isn’t subject to extreme heat or cold, which can result in the product texture going a bit off (but it would still work just as well).
-While we don’t add fragrances to any of our products, the bioactive plant oils that we do formulate with produce a natural by-product scent. It’s in the nature of plant oils to slightly change in aroma over time. Any scent you may detect in our products are the natural scents of our botanical ingredients and actives — never added synthetics.
-All our products have a 3 year shelf-life when unopened. Once you open your product, you can refer to the PAO symbol on the packaging, which will tell you how many months it’s most effective.
-We tell our email subscribers all our latest updates, so your best bet for that info is to Sign Up for our mailing list.
-That depends on who you ask, but since you’re asking us, we recommend it. Our Heroine Toner does way more than just “tone;” it’s a skin-clearing, radiance-boosting treatment that helps you achieve a noticeable glow by getting to the root cause of blemishes, dark spots and blackheads daily.
-If serums are your morning juice, boosters are that added shot of wheatgrass for an extra nutritious kick. Think of boosters like a power-up in a video game. Serums are targeted skin treatments and our boosters are a more potent version of them, containing high concentrations of key actives designed to deliver rapid results. They can be used on their own as you would a serum or mixed with any essence, serum, moisturizer, or facial oil to give a boost to your existing regimen.
-Yep, that’s totally possible. A chemical peel removes dead skin cells and other impurities, making it easier for ingredients to penetrate the skin. If your skin is especially sensitive, test a small area first to check if you feel any irritation before proceeding to your whole face.
-No, it shouldn’t! Our peels were made to include hydrating and nourishing ingredients as well as exfoliating ones to balance out the effect. Since post-peel skin reveals fresh unblocked skin cells, we recommend following up with a hydrating serum, moisturizer, and/or face oil to lock hydration into your freshly exfoliated skin.
-We recommend no more than once or twice a week. When it comes to chemical peels, less is most certainly more. (And you can never really tell you’ve overdone it until you’ve overdone it.)
-We recommend exfoliating (either with a toner or serum) no more than once a day. When doing a peel, skip all other exfoliating products for that day so as not to overstimulate your skin.
-Yes, unfortunately that is a normal skin response for those new to strong actives like retinoids and acids. These potent active ingredients stimulate cellular renewal and can bring impurities to the surface in the process as they clear out your pores. Consider it a purging period, and if you stick with the regimen, your skin should improve once it balances out.
-Yes, there’s nothing wrong with that. However, Vitamin C is especially effective when used in the AM as it protects your skin against UV and pollution damage and helps boost the effects of your SPF.
-You can use it every day if you want, or just when you’re feeling a bit dry and dull. Facial oils are a great last step in your skincare routine to seal in your treatments and provide extra nutrients your skin.
-Well, a facial oil technically can also provide moisture. However, oils work best to seal in moisture. Thanks to their occlusive nature, they prevent the evaporation of hydration from your skin to the environment. Which means that they will create a barrier on your skin sealing in all the goodness from your skincare regimen.
Moisturizers are water-based, and can deliver actives that improve the ability of the skin to maintain and attract moisture. Think actives like Hyaluronic Acid, Panthenol and Ceramides, which your pores will drink right up. Following up with an oil will ensure that your pores have much more to drink.
This is why we recommend using moisturizers and oils together. We like mixing a few drops of oil into any moisturizer and applying in one easy step. If you prefer layering, simply press/pat a few drops of oil after your moisturizer.
Whether you prefer a one-step routine or to layer, both are best applied on slightly damp skin since skin is sponge-like in that it absorbs more readily when it’s soft and moist rather than tight and dried-out. Same goes for your essences and serums too!
-You can — it’s all about your preference. But we recommend adding a drop or two of a face oil to a serum or moisturizer for additional nutrients and benefits.
